Today we learned a new strategy to help us learn new words and remember their meaning: categorize the words. We started to practice it in class and you have to complete the assignments at home. Try this new strategy when you learn the new words from page 75 for the next dictation. (click for quizlet)

In class we worked on pages 75-77 on reading comprehension and continued to start unit 3. Next lesson on only in 10 days: must complete class work pages 77-79 and B on page 80 in the textbook and in the workbook pages 99-100 and 102-104E.

Must hand in the test correction.

Prepare for a dictation on the next 20 irregular verbs.

היום עבדנו בספר בעמודים 75-77 על הבנת הנקרא והמשכנו להתחלה של יחידה 3 בספר. השיעור הבא יתקיים רק ביום רביעי הבא, עוד 10 ימים, עליכם להשלים את העבודה שהתחלנו בכתה עמוד 77-79 בTB (פלוס B בעמוד 80), ובWB (הכתום) עמודים 99-100 ואז 102-104 (עד E בלבד). להזכירכם כל מי שקיבל פחות מ-80 במבחן צריך לעשות על דף נקי תיקון מבחן ולהגיש לי.

In class we repeated on the irregular verbs for the quiz and then took the quiz. We learned how to prepare for a quiz and tricks to remember spelling for words.

For the next lesson - the next 10 verbs (first 10 verbs on the right column, page 175).

We read page 81 and started to work in pairs on our own writing assignment on page 82. We also did pages 104-105 +106 up to "E". If you didn't complete in class - do it at home.

היום ערכנו חזרה על הפעלים יוצאי הדופן בעבר לפני המבדק. למדנו איך ללמוד מילים חדשות, איך לזכור איות של מילים יוצאות דופן ועשינו את המבדק.

קראנו בעמוד 81 ואז עברנו לעבוד בזוגות על כתיבת הסיפור שלנו, לפי הסעיפים בעמוד 82. עבדנו גם בספר העבודה הכתום (מי שלא סיים בכיתה שישלים בבית): ב-WB עמודים 104-105 עד 106 E.

לשיעור הבא - עוד 10 פעלים יוצאי דופן. 10 הפעלים העליונים בטור הימני בעמוד 175.

Today we continued to work on the writing assignment. This time we practice asking questions and giving answers in a conversation. Everyone should have their writing assignment complete to show on the next lesson. You can work in pairs but each students tells his or her own story.

We repeated the verbs before the dictation and took the dictation later. In the next lesson you are asked to repeat the verbs and words on your own. The dictation will start at 10:25 and will take 10 minutes.

Prepare the verbs from ring to sing. Add the words on page 83.

היום המשכנו לעבוד על משימת הכתיבה. הפעם התאמנו בשלאול שאלות ולתת תשובות בעל פה בשיחה. כל התלמידים צריכים להשלים את משימת הכתיבה במחברות שלהם ולהראות לי בשיעור הבא. מותר לעבוד בזוגות ולהעזר זה בזה אבל לכל תלמיד צריך להיות את הסיפור שלו במחברת שלו.

חזרנו על הפעלים להכתבה בכיתה לפני ההכתבה. בשיעור הבא אתם מתבקשים לעשות את החזרה על הפעלים בעצמכם. ההכתבה תתחיל בדיוק ב-10:25 ותימשך 10 דקות בלבד.

הכינו את הפעלים מ-RING עד SING ולימדו גם את המילים החדשות מעמוד 83 למעלה.
