An Offline Game To Learn Past Simple Verbs (V2)

Here is a simple game to repeat, practice and study the past tense of verbs - regular and irregular.

All you need to do is print and glue on cards or - copy and make your own cards the file attached here.

Then you play like "רביעיות" - the purpose is to create as many verb-families as you can, each family contains 4 verbs.

How to play?

Choose a maximum of 15 families (or even fewer) for a single game (it's too much to play with all families at once).

Mix the cards. Each player gets four cards. The remaining cards are placed face down in the middle. Players try to collect families of four cards by asking the other player or players for the card they want by name (example: “Do you have “make-made” from the ‘Past has a-magic-e’ family?”) If the player gets what s/he requested, s/he gets another turn. If not, the other player says, “No, Go Fish” and the first player draws a card from the pile.

Player present on the table each family of four cards they collect. Player should read the name of the family, read the 4 verb pairs and state their meanings to get points for this family.

Play until all the cards are laid out in families.

The player with the most families wins.

משחק רביעיות ללימוד וחזרה על הטיית פעלים בעבר פשוט:

מצורף קובץ ובו רשומות רביעיות של פעלים לפי ההטיות שלהם בעבר.

הדפיסו והדביקו על כרטיסים או קלפים, או צרו וציירו לכם קלפים משלכם לפי המשפחות. ואז שחקו רביעיות.

איך משחקים?

בחרו לכל היותר 15 משפחות (רביעיות) של פעלים, או אפילו פחות, לכל משחק. זה יותר מדי רביעיות לשחק עם כולם בסיבוב אחד.

ערבבו את הקלפים היטב. כל שחקן מקבל 4 קלפים. יתר הקלפים מונחים על השולחן, פנים למטה.

המטרה: כל שחקן מנסה להשיג את המספר הגבוה ביותר של משפחות-פעלים.

כל שחקן בתורו מבקש משחקן אחר את הקלף בו הוא מעוניין בשמו, למשל:

“Do you have “make-made” from the ‘Past has a-magic-e’ family?”

אם השחקן קיבל את הקלף שרצה - הוא מקבל תור נוסף. אם לא, שאר השחקנים אומרים לו:

"Go Fish" והוא צריך "לדוג" לעצמו קלף חדש מהקופה המרכזית.

ברגע ששחקן הצליח להרכיב רביעיה הוא מציג אותה לשאר השחקנים על השולחן. צריך לקרוא למשפחה בשמה, לקרוא את 4 הזוגות של הפעלים ולומר מה התרגום שלהם - כדי לקבל נקודות עבור המשפחה שהרכיב.

השחקן עם הכי הרבה רביעיות- הוא המנצח.
